Nicht Blooming Cactus

Thanks all for the nice comments. This is my neighbor's plant and she ask me if I would like to come over to see it when it bloomed, I presume she knew when it would bloom by the way the buds were and from long experience with the plant. Anyhow, she said she had had this plant for as long as she had been keeping house - and she's been retired for a while.

very nice, Beverly. have also heard about these and have seen others' photos of them, but have never witnessed the once a year blooming event of one : )

It is a lovely capture but how did you know what night it was going to bloom? It's amazing that it only blooms once a year, for one night only, so hardly anyone would be there to witness this gorgeous flower in bloom. Well done Beverly.

Really nice photo of the night time bloomer. I have heard about them, but have never seen one.
