About This Image

The sun had just gone down when the lightning show began. During the time the shutter was open two lightning bolts went off. I made a 8x10 print of this and gave it to my neighbor who's house you can see in the bottom right. They were very happy. It's nice to make your neighbors happy now and then...

I'm sorry.. I keep finding photos that I never replied to. Thanks very much Alandra, Janice, Tammi, Grahameg, Commodore, and Alex for all of your really nice comments. Daytime lightning is a real challenge and I think it will be some time before I get another shot like this one.
