About This Image

Zoe and I were out all afternoon looking for captures
and trying out the white balance experiment. Then
I forgot to use it on this capture.
Anyway, I would like to wish all the photographers
on TLF a "bountiful harvest" of wonderful captures on this a beautiful autumn day.

thankyou for the kind words, Ann. Have only just seen your comments about Ruggles. Visited your site to let you know that I replied about the china pattern etc at the cup and saucer photo on my site, just now.

Thank you Talsi, Alan, Alanra and Carol for stopping in to view this capture and leaving comments. Sorry to hear about Ruggles, Alandra. Your heart must feel empty without Ruggles. We know what we have to do and reason, but that doesn't mean we don't ache to just see them one more time. Time helps a little. Zoe was a bit tired when I took a few captures after being out and about for so many hours. She slept for four hours after her dinner.j Carol you still have most of your leaves? Ours here in central Maine are almost over as far as vivid colors. Thanks again for viewing.

that is sooo sweet, Ann, Zoe is as adorable as ever. thankyou for the good wishes also, - and sending the same back to you and yours also. Am very sad to have to tell you that we had to part with our much loved little Bichon "Ruggles" a few weeks ago. He developed diabetes out of the blue, and as he was between 10 - 13 yrs old (we never knew his exact age, as we had rescued him about 4 yrs ago) - we decided not to put him thru' the suffering involved with trying to regulate the insulin treatment. Our vet said it is hell getting them sorted out with the correct dosage. It was a double loss, as just 2 wks prior to losing Ruggles, we'd had to part with our much loved Maggie (yellow Lab) who was nearly 13. There are big empty spaces in our hearts, as you can imagine.
