Thanks for the positive comments. I am really new at photography. The Murrells Inlet area is about ten miles south of Myrtle Beach,SC.

what a beautiful bird! Have never seen an Egret, but we have lots of Great Blue Herons in our area (BC Canada) Where is Murrell's Inlet?
