About This Image

While hiking through Algonquin Park, took a break along a beaver pond. Was watching the beavers swim about, when this magnificent animal came out of the forest and began foraging on the far side of the pond.

Seems your lunch at the pond that day is one to cherish. Nice capture.

another great capture and wonderful sight to see, of this noble animal. We also saw these in the interior of this province when we first moved to Canada many years ago. Did you know that their hair is "hollow" giving them extra floatation when they swim?
