About This Image

This is my first attempt at photographing the moon. I don't know why I haven't before. I do know the morning I went for my camera was cloudless at seven a.m. the sun hadn't come over the horizon but it was shining on the moon. The sky was so blue and cloudless after four days of rain. I hand held this capture. I should try again with more stability using the camera. I'm sharing as it was fun and exciting capturing the moon.
