About This Image

During this hike, we experienced both fall and winter. It started out very warm and nice and decended into a very cold snowstorm. These moody pics depict the change from fall to winter in the Uinta Mountains.

I agree with Frank. The picture does have an otherworldly look. The gap in the mountains, the mist surrounding all, the tall tree, a pointer and at one with the gap and the reflection - the unity of the entire picture. Well done,Brian. You are a true artist.

I agree with Frank. This is a spectacular photo with great composition. I really need to visit the Uintas. It looks like a very beautiful place.

This is a beautiful image, almost otherworldly. The composition leads directly to the gap in the mountains, especially with the tall tree and it's reflection below the gap. Very nice!!
