About This Image

Formerly a hotel, the Monte Palace and its gardens were purchased by Jose Berardo and restored and opened
to the public in 1989.
The gardens have a number of water features, and this image is one of them.
Madeira is a horticulturist's paradise, with exotic flowers growing into very large bushes.

A lovely place to visit; it brings back such great memories Chriss! There's such a lot going on in this shot; I love how you managed to capture the three swans together, whereas, I only got two.
