About This Image

We finally had a short but heavy rain storm pass through Golden Valley. It actually rained after six months of nothing for a good ten minutes woo hoo....Then right after the storm this rainbow showed up and lasted for almost a whole hour. It was a little on the dark side with all the heavy clouds. My other problem was I was way too close to the rainbow to get it all in one shot. This was taken from my back yard looking south.

You captured some great colors Alan,and you probably wouldn't have if it were lighter.I'll give it a WOW!! ,you even got part of the second rainbow there too.

Thanks very much Beverly and Carol.. I'm glad you liked my rainbow. I wish the sun could have been out more, the shot is a tad on the dark side and you can't see the white cloud streaks coming out from the rainbow. It was a beautiful site that I did a so so job in capturing. Oh well, there will be more to come :-)
