strange how these things happen, Tania. this reminded me of when we first came to Canada, there was a Lodge that had been built (almost finished) but it had been abandoned as the owners went bankrupt. I dont know many details, as was only a kid at that time. But it was across the Quesnel Lake from where we lived, the name of it was Gough's Lodge. have no idea what became of it, maybe it's on Google someplace : ) anyway, there's a funny side to the story : ) all the locals had bathroom fixtures in their homes, that had been removed from the Lodge, -- but the laugh of it all, is that there was NO running water in any of the houses there, in those days (backwoods area) - so the toilets and bathtubs and sinks were really only for show LOL - well I guess the sinks were usable, but definitely NOT the toilets. When we arrived at this person's home, my Mother remarked on the lovely bathroom, only to learn that it wasn't usable, and people had to use the "outhouse"/biffy to go to the toilet funny memories.

Alandra It is a real shame how this has been treated. Most of this has been done by visiters to the islands and Cook Islanders who have returned home after being away for years or born off the islands.
