About This Image

The London Millennium Footbridge, is a street suspension bridge that crosses The River Thames linking Bankside with the City of London.
Construction of the bridge began in 1998, with the opening on the 10th June 2000.
Total length: 370 metres (1,214ft)
Width: 4 metres (472ft)

* Sub note; I was most surprised this morning when I visited my Flickr web-page, to find that this image has been short-listed for inclusion in the ninth edition of Schmap London Guide.

Great photo Chriss! I also like the angle you used, it seems like your hanging off of the edge :-) I guess you will do anything to get a great photo.. Nice timing getting the people and the boat in the shot, and you can't beat those big white clouds. Good luck! I hope they use it in the map guide......

Yes, Chriss, I can see why this image has been shortlisted to go in the map guide! You've taken it from a really interesting angle, giving it great perspective and I love the clouds over the cityscape. Great shot!
