About This Image

Mill Pond Alverstone, was quite a busy place in the 1930s.
The gardens were a beautiful place to have afternoon teas, and to watch the rowing boats on the river.
The stream that feeds the pond, was always kept dredged and free running though unfortunately this is not always true today. Though it is still a beautiful place and a lovely walk, with abundance of wild life and wild flowers, and one of my favourite walks.

Enjoy:)

As Above So Below! or almost. I believe the shape of pond might have distracted a little from exact replica. *g* I loved it, of course!! It is My kind of picture - one can see all kind of shapes as they look deeply into it. A wonderful picture.

Such a wonderful composition. The reflections show beautifully. The color of the new leaves on the trees make for a very enjoyable photograph to view.
