About This Image

This beautiful church in St Augustine is open to visitors on weekdays. It was funded by Henry Flagler who was responsible for the construction of the Ponce de Leon Hotel (now Flagler College) and the Lightner Museum (formerly the Alcazar Hotel), all of which were constructed in the mid 1880s. He is entombed here along with his second wife, daughter and granddaughter.

Thank you jay. This was built in the mid 1800's. All Flagler-influenced architecture is magnificent. Vicki

Beautiful photo of the church! Looks like something from the middle ages in Europe.
