thanks very much, Solaria : ) Didn't save any of these leaves, as had saved some similar a short time before, and they just dried right out, so didn't think to save any of these. I think they change colour once dried, not so vivid red

This is a spectacular photograph. The bright of the red, and the muted tones of the background. Just wonderful. Hope you saved one of the leaves.

thanks very much, Alan, it's my pleasure, and thanks also for taking time to praise my photos. Those leaves were beautiful to behold in the neighbours front garden, just saw them by chance, as they are hidden by shrubs from the road, so went home and got my camera

Wow those are some red leaves, they look like there popping out of the photo. Better make sure you have lots of red ink before you print this one out :>) Thanks very much Alandra for all your wondrous comments on my photos. They make me want to get out and take more photos and push myself even more.

This is such a pretty shot Alandra! These trees are so beautiful in Autumn. Stick around because when they drop their leaves, the ground beneath looks striking too!

I like the contrast of those scarlet leaves against the brown tree trunk. Very pretty.
