About This Image

Mangroves swaying in the foreground,
Formosa marina boats seaward bound,
Maraetai and Sunkist Bay I have found,
a good place to fish around.

Taken from Whitford road,East Auckland looking towards Waiheke Island in the back ground.This water swells in from the Waitemata Harbour,the surrounding Islands shelter all along here and the beaches are considered safe as there is no rips like the west coast about an hours drive or so from here.In the third body of water I have a 3 minute video of Maraetai(pronounced'my right eye')The video on youtube is under jdjzmum titled 'Peace to you' the video is taken from the Wharf or Jetty and features a beautiful colored sunset.

Another great landscape Vincent, and beautiful evening light (or early morning?) The three stretches of water make a nice repeating motif, and it's just a pity that the view of the middle stretch is obscured by the trees so that it slightly undermines the pattern.
