I, too, thought that the one on the rock seemed to be keeping watch. They are such lovely birds. You captured the color very well.

Thank you plumeriagirl. These two were a bit of a surprise as I originally got separate images, then the one preening itself suddenly swam over by the one on the rock who seemed to be watching over his buddy. Vicki

I love Mallards, they are such beautiful ducks. What a plesant suprise this must have been to see. Beautiful colors you have captured with the ducks, wonderful greens in the grass and sparkling blue stream. A radiant scene
