About This Image

Today, unexpectedly and happily, we met our Lab Maggie's "dog family" while walking! So here's the group of them. Val, the Mama dog is in the center, now aged 9 plus. Maggie (8)one side &
Milo (8) Maggie's brother dog on the other side of their Mama.
And not to forget, our Lucy (4) hanging around in the background near her precious Maggie : )- tail wagging, as if she sensed
something special about it all.

Val is from New Zealand - she was flown out to our area from the Royal New Zealand Guide Dog organization, to start the BC Guide Dog group, just over 8 years ago. Maggie and Milo were among her first litter - 9 puppies -
born a couple weeks after her arrival in our area. This was a very happy gathering for all of us, especially with all the dogs getting older now (as we are : )
