trying out my new macro lens for the first time :)
Then I looked at the manual later that night :) and apparently I had the wrong setting, -- so will try it the right way next time, lol. anyway, am quite pleased with the results, and its so much fun. I read that this lens is "the most fun you can have with a lens", something like that.

that's very nice and encouraging, Golda, many thanks :) Hopefully I made the right choice, now I just have to get the feel of the lens, have been told there's a bit of a learning curve to using this one (am not keen on hearing things like that, being one that doesn't like reading manuals etc :)

thanks for your nice comments, Lorraine, as usual :) appreciated. I put off getting the macro lens for ages, as didn't know "which one" to get, so finally decided after lots of reading online recently. Wanted to get one before all the flowers start blooming this summer, and hopefully learn how to use it in time for that :)
