Hi Ann, Thanks for your kind words about my photo, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Grass, what's that? LOL.. The blades with the sharp points are from our Spanish Dagger cactus. To have grass around my house would shoot my water bill through the roof...

What a well captured loggerhead. I think the vertical blades of grass or plant really adds to the wonderful photographed bird.

Thanks again Cody for the info on this bird. I have another photo of a bird that I named Loggerhead Shrike but that one might be wrong. Oh well I will eventually get them straightened out.
