Carol aren't lighthouses wonderful?! They carry such pressence. I like the sky and water against the color of the lighthouse.

Thanks to all for viewing and commenting on the Lighthouse,I really appreciate it. John it isnt very tall. I have seen many Lighthouses that are taller than this one and actually there are lighthouses at each end of the walkway at Port Dalhousie.

Such a nice simple photo but yet so much to see in it, and I love the colours of the light house against the blue back ground. I spent some time just looking at it, its so nice!

Nice shot Carol. I looked it up for some history and found that it was built in 1898 and is now deactivated. I had wondered if it was a working lighthouse.
