This is a chemistry lab. at a building where I spent thirty years one way or another!
It was my school and then taken over by a college where myself and my husband taught. This is the final visit as it has been sold and will be converted into flats. The building has already been "gutted" as is evident.
It was edited in Nikon and then treated and framed in Ulead. Still find writing poems easier than photography! So I am trying to learn how the size of text converts from my screen as i invent it to the site. May end up rewriting!

Thanks for your thoughts Alandra. Sad in a way, but only because we were very lucky to have had so many good years there. As we all know unfortunately, worse things happen. I am still hit and miss with text too- sometimes you see it, sometimes you don't !

it would be good to see the "after" photo! Those are a lot of years to have "invested" into a building! - Hoping there are some pleasant memories there also. Glad the text worked out so well. Am in the same boat, as never know how it will turn out when I do it. All "hit and miss" with mine.

Very creative. Nice shot and I like the poem that you wrote to go with the photo. Very expressive.
