THANKS KARENMOEN,YES WE ARE FORTUNATE TO SEE ALL THE LARGE LINERS THAT SAIL FROM SOUTHAMPTON. I REMEMBER SEEING THE UNITED STATES WHEN SHE WON THE BLUE RIBBON,ALSO THE QUEEN MARYS LAST VOYAGE,SAD DAY.

That is a beautiful ship. I would think it would be fun to be on the maiden voyage---unless the ship is called the Titanic! I would love to have a view of the sea from home, too. Thanks for sharing this beautiful sight.

I left from Southampton by ship in 1953 : ) with my parents and siblings - to move to Canada.
