About This Image

Today my son took me up to the little mountains where we live. It was around a 17 mile trip with the last 6 miles on a dirt road. After just a short walk we came to a small stream with a nice sized pond. It is strange to come onto water out in the desert. Anyway with the water, there was lots of wildlife from birds, tadpoles, frogs, dragonflies, butterflies, lizards, and even signs of the wild burros. Well I got this shot of the orange dragonfly and other cool critters.

Hi Ann, Carol, and Alex.. Thank You all very much for the nice comments. It sure was orange and the body looked more red at times. I can't wait to get back up there again.
