Beautiful closeup of this orchid. When I was going on nature walks, we traveled miles to see Lady Slippers among other plants and birds, and the location was never broadcasted...big secret! :)

How well I remember the lecture I received from my mother when I picked 2 yellow lady slippers that I found in the woods!! I never picked another one and am so delighted to see the pink one here. Thanks for the treat!
