many thanks Susan for the nice comments. Mum was very happy to be there, and we appreciated my sister and husband going to the care facility to bring her there, so that she could see Jess in her Prom gown.

thanks so much for your lovely comments, Carol and Vicki. Yes, I was thinking the same thing, about having precious images for years ahead. My Mum has always had a wonderful and cheerful spirit, which am sure has kept her going through thick and thin, so to speak.
