About This Image

This is a most often depicted picture of New Orleans. Jackson was the hero of the Battle of New Orleans. Yea right. Lafitte was actually the hero but Jackson became president. In the background is the St. Louis Cathedral, the oldest Catholic Cathedral in the United States. To its right is the Presbytere. The Prebytere was never used as a priest house. It is now a museum. To the left of the Church is the Cabildo. It is a museum and has its own picture listed on my gallery.

I really like beautiful architectural photographs. The wonderful blue in the sky really adds to this photo.
