With the heat wave were having it's really miserable outside and it's not fit for man nor beast. I have a swamp cooler to keep the house cool, and to use them you have to open windows to give the air a way to go. Well right outside the window in my computer room there are some hedges. The birds firgued out that cool air was coming out and their are lots of them just resting in the hedge keeping cool. When their really hot they keep their beaks open that reminded me of dogs panting.
