This is some woods in the Spillway in Norco, Louisiana. These woods might disappear in the future. It is one of the proposed spots for the New Orleans Airport relocation. They thankfully did not disappear during Hurricane Katrina. There are, however, large trees that have come down and block the path. It is not accesible by bike at this time. It soon will be.

Thanks. I hope the politicians read the New Orleans paper. There were many editorials against locating the airport here.

I must agree with Pam.. the picture does make you want to take a walk down the path..would be sad to lose it that is for sure

This looks very inviting just to walk in. Nice picture. Very sad to lose this if the airport is relocated.
