About This Image

Pope John Paul II was apposed to the war in Iraq, this photo is a reminder of that. This woman was painting a peace parasol at last years anti war protest in Fayetteville, NC. The reflection in the sunglasses is the parasol with a peace symbol on it.

This is my first hit on it. Politically, I won't state that I agree or disagree. Photographically, I believe it is a great shot but the title is a slight bit misleading. The seems to be more about the war in Iraq then about the Pope.

I can't believe this photo has been getting 8 hits a day and nobody has commented on it? Cheers, Randy
