We don't see this kind of thing where I live (at least not for years). The green of the holly and the nice, shiny, icicles stand out beautifully against the black background.

No it won;t kill them. They are hearty ever greens. Makes for nice bird food too as they eat the berries in midst winter. Z

What a great capture of the water freezing on your holly. Won't it kill the plant if it gets to cold?
