About This Image

taken today from our front window, hummingbirds love this blue flower, that returns year after year. Not sure what the name is, sort of a wildflower type plant. I left the rose and rosebuds in photo, so that the size of the hummingbird can be compared, to those who don't get to see them in real life.

that's right, the wings are moving so fast, that you can't see them

I figured you could not see the wings because they are too busy flapping. The last hummingbird I saw was in the mountains of Colorado in 1998.

thanks Dud, didn't realize you don't see them where you are, wonder why that is? This is a strange shot, as it looks as if it's standing straight upright lol, and you can't see the wings : )
