again, thankyou Alex D for your encouragement and nice comments, am happy that you enjoy these so much, as it gives me pleasure to capture the images. I also wonder what the bird is thinking. sometimes it seems to actually jab at the gazing ball surface. I got a couple of shots where the bird's beak is open a bit. It was a different session to this image, if I recall correctly.

Oh, another one of those beautiful hummer/gazing ball shots that I love so much. I always wonder what that bird is thinking. Some shots do not lend themselves well to thumbnail images and this is one. There is so much beautiful detail that cannot be seen in the smaller image. Looks like the cover of a hummingbird calandar to me. Very well done.
