Home Grown Sunflower

Thanks Vicki, Karen, Alex, and Beverly for your nice comments. Hi Vicki, I really don't know how they will end up, these are the first sunflowers I've tried growing in the house. Hey Alex, I have them by a window and then get some direct sunlight but I think your right they need more sun. My next ones I'm going to treat nicer and give them some miracle grow and more sun LOL..

Thats a great shot Alan,the colors are great.Maybe they just need to be outside in the direct sunlight to grow taller and fill out.

Beautiful color and lighting of a "skinny" sunflower. The composition is very pleasing.

Lovely contrasts and a beautiful sunflower, Alan. I have never seen one so small. Do the stamens become seeds like a regular sunflower? Vicki

Hi Don, Thanks for the nice comment on my sunflower shot. The dark background was the walls of my house and ceiling. The light was from a open window. Inside shots are easy and fun...

Thanks very much Lorraine :-) Growing flowers inside the house is fun. There easy to take care of and you can take photos of them anytime with no wind to cope with... I'm glad you liked my wild house plant photo...
