About This Image

This shot shows why it is called the Texas Hill Country. The land is dotted with fairly high limestone hills and many creeks and rivers. This was not inside the Lost Maples State Park but it shows the topography around it.

Thank you Whittler, Kathy and Dud. Yes, Kathy, the colors look a little like Penn., too. I am afraid you wouldn't be able to get to the hills because they are on privately owned and fenced land, Dud.
