The two photos are actually different flowers. This one wasn't as open as the other and thats why the petals curve around the centre. It looks more delicate to me.

This one appeals to me most. I love the peach color and the way the petals curl around the Stamen. I like the composition and crop on this one..,with the Stamen being off center.

Like the others, I prefer this one. They are both beautiful, but this one has a certain sense of serenity about it - I think it is the way the petals softly fold around the stamen. Absolutely beautiful!

Lorraine, this is the one I prefer too. The angle is more pleasing to me than the straight on one.

I like the other one, but this is my pick, just me, but I think it holds the eye for longer, the cluster of pettals around the stamen. Ex shot.
