Hi Alex, I really appreciate your ongoing support, thanks very much. Glad you like the pics, I did think of you while we were there, as yours was one of the first fabulous Heron pics that I admired here, and knew you'd enjoy seeing all the herons locally. Someone told us today that there are 400 Great Blue Herons nesting locally! The lens is a Canon 100-400.

Just wanted to say I have been enjoying your heron photographs. I love the feel of this one as well. I believe you use a Canon 350D camera. What kind of lens are you using for these?
