About This Image

This is of my favorite photographs. I asked permission from a neighbor with a riverside lot if I could get some sunset shots. When I saw a great blue heron standing on a rock on the river, I crept in for a silhouette.

I like how you caught the bird on a platform. It really makes the bird stand out from the background.
