About This Image

heron with outstretched wings as he was trying to clamber/flap his way up the bank from the water. Seems like he wasn't sure if he should lift off, or continue hiking up the bank. He climbed up onto the road, walked along and flew off when a vehicle passed.

Alandra - this is one of your most beautiful shots in the Heron group. And in spite of clambering up the bank, he is so poised. There is also a Freedom about it. Lovely shot.
