I've just re named this photo, as this is where the herons are nesting. Thought some might be interested to see where we go to take the heron photos, -- just a bit to the left of this building. Last year, the herons were nesting behind the building, but this year we didn't see many herons there.
So you can see how high some of the photos are taken at.

thankyou, Karen, happy it gives you an idea of what it's like here. Yes, that is a condo, it's called Tsatsu Shores. Not sure if there's a website, must check. We know someone who lives there. Each time we drop by there, comment that I'd love to live there too : ) We live in the area up on the bluff there, behind the condo, to the left. there are some other shots in my gallery, showing the view out over the water, taken from just infront of the condo,

I have a photo, I hope and think, in the gallery of a blue herron. I know the photo is supposed to be of the canoers but the building is humungous and I like it. It caught my eye first.

Looks like they are going to have fun, we dont get blue herons here, I stand corrected Alex says we do but I have never been lucky enough to see one. Carol
