here's the next frame of the heron "saga" and the bull's still watching :) and more leaves are falling. I like this image as it's sortof "silhouette-ish" - of the heron's leg and foot at least

thanks Don, glad you like them. Was also smiling about the speed limit sign, and left it in the earlier image purposely, as if the heron should observe it.

Hi Golda, thanks for the interesting comment. I have wondered about this, as sometimes the herons don't seem that anxious to fly away.

When my husband was younger,he used to fish the Campbell River in White Rock,for salmon.One of the by-catches was a small salt water bullhead or sculpine,and he would feed them to the heron.The bird would come within two feet of him and he almost had it eating out of his hand!
