About This Image

Taken at the B.E.Taylor Christmas concert tonight. Hermie Granati is one of my favorite performers. He is local but has played with some top names in music. You can google.com his name and come up with all kinds of info.

I need a new lens for hand held, low light and a little distance....like not front row seats. I know this is not a good photo...but the best I could do with what I've got.

Thanks so much Alandra, Carol, Don, Beverly, and Alex for viewing and your positive comments. Don, I already have the Canon 10-22 on my list but DO need one for low light concerts or other events. Any suggestions on a lens? Alandra, go to .......... hermiegranati.tripod.com/ AND www.soundclick.com/bands/pageartist.cfm?bandID=22789 to check out this artist/musician. Again, thanks everyone! :)The comments mean a lot because I know the photo is not the best.....but you all saw something good about it.

Mary, a very nice effort to try and squeeze a new lens out of your husband for x-mas. But I think the one you used did a great job! Cool composition. :-) Don

Great photo, especially taken inside at a concert where lighting isnt the greastest. Carol

it's a pleasing image & effect, imo, Mary. The colours are really nice, esp the floodlight, and the coordinating frame. It has a sortof "dreamy" look to it. Am not aware that I've ever heard Hermie Granati, but will have to check it out. I did look on google, but nothing "rings a bell".
