Hawk on our front patio fence. Just by luck I was sitting at the open window when the hawk landed on the fence, - he didn't stay long, then jumped to the ground below and went under a dwarf tree hunting for small birds, then walked/hurried around the front of the shrubs encircling the patio, where he goes most days to hunt for small birds.

glad you like it, Alex, thanks for the nice comments. I was amazed when he flew in and landed right "in front of me" on the fence, as I sat at the open window.

Try removing some, at least the one going through it's neck, and see if it works.

thankyou for the nice comments, Mary and Marsha Sea. I was wondering if perhaps it might be good to remove some of the background twigs. For some reason didn't think of it til seeing the image here. The hawks colour and the twigs sort of "match" anyway :)
