This is the first in a series of Mother's Day photos. I choose ducks as a theme, mostly because it is convenient. (Ducks are cute too.) I live in a condo complex where ducks are kept on the grounds. Every late April it seems that many pairs have ducklings. When this happens, I take the opportunity for a couple of days to run around and get some shots of the mother with her ducklings. I think a mother duck and her ducklings are a good photographic subjects and lend themselves well to the theme of motherhood. Consequently, in early May, I have a number of possible entries for Mother's Day cards. I have been practicing my Photoshop post-processing (text & framing) technique, so this in part is the result of my practice. I have five of these photos this year. I plan to post one a day until Mother's Day. Hope you like them.
