Super capture Beverly! I've got several so so images of Green Herons, have never been able to get a shot half as nice as this one. They are a tough target, you nailed him. Beautiful bird. Great job! Don

These birds have such lovely colours! I always thought of all herons as being large and was quite surprised at how small the Green Herons were, when I saw one for the first time, recently. Nice shot Beverly. :)

Severly, this is a perfect image of a green heron in breeding plumage. I think this is the best I've seen of these intriguing birds. When their necks are extended they look surreal. Lovely composition. Vicki
