Hi Alex, thanks very much, your praise is appreciated, as always remember that wonderful GB Heron shot of yours! Had begun to think we were never going to accomplish this. No, it was just luck how this happened. A man was already in the road, with tripod and camera! so DH noticed the heron and we turned around and I just stood near this other photographer and snapped away, amazed that the heron stayed there, as he was : ) Then he told us where the snowy owls were, so it was our lucky day!

Glad to see you got an excellent GBH shot. Wonderful detail. It must of took some patience to get this close. Great job.
