I like how they always sat so straight, and has the dress code changed to today, poor great great great grandad would fall off is cloud if he could see the skimpy things around today. thanks for looking in and the comment.

really enjoying these great photos, Lorraine, thanks for sharing. So interesting to see the clothes, and as you say, how uncomfortable in the hot weather! Getting back to the Girls Own Annuals, there are lots of photos of the fashions of the day in them also, plus people could send for sewing patterns :)
