Part of the Gravity Series

Rumia, this shot was taken while the ball rested on some net covering a golfing practice area. The shot was taken from underneath while the sun was close to setting. You can see that the light is coming in from the lower left hand corner for this shot. As the ball sits in the netting, different shapes emerge from the netting, depending on how close the ball is to one of the supports at the sides of the practice area. I used a rather wide apeture to eliminate a background, which is mostly sky anyway and get the eye to focus on the interaction between the ball and the net. If you like this shot, you should examine the entire series of Gravity One through Nine (I think, ... it has been a while since I posted these).

Have enjoyed all of your Gravity shots, but so far I like this one the best. I just keep looking at it and following all the lines. GReat Shot.
