Thankyou Vicki, I only had a limited area that I could get, I've asked permission to go in, I'll wait and see, but it would make quite a difference.

The morning sun really sets this off Lorraine. The coloration and the detail are lovely. I agree with Steve on the spike to the right, but the fence posts might work better from a different angle and a bit more emphasis. This one would work well with and without them. Vicki

Thankyou Steve for looking in and helpful comments, there was a fence where I was standing and then this one in the photograph, and private property, so I was slightly stuck as to where I could get, I see what you mean with that stray pampus stalk also, thanks for that.

Great morning sunlight shot. The seedheads look like exotic feathers, and stand out so well against the cool blue and black of the water. Those fence posts are a pity, though, and I'd probably crop out that lone grass stalk at the extreme right of the frame.

Beautiful Lorraine. I love the color and texture of the plant.
