About This Image

Looking for a sunset in the mountains is not always easy. Looking for a beautiful sunset is even harder. Every once in a while, we are given gifts. This was one of them. It was a miserable, rainy and cloudy day when the rays broke through just as we were about to leave. This photograph is very subtle, but has become one of my favorites.

I like the layers in the mountains. Also the pale pastel around the clouds. Very nice.
