Thanks for the comments, everyone. I thought it looked like my big ash tree in the photo was about to get swatted (or maybe smote?). The clouds appeared as rainy overcast cleared and high pressure moved into the area. Bruce

Great cloud formation, showing 'the hand'. I often look up at the clouds and can see images there, it's really fascinating. :)
